What is the goal at Catalyst Youth Church? It's to reach this generation before they need to be rescued. Catalyst Youth Curch is a ministry to teenagers that has national vision, local impact, and answers for the individual. We believe that the teens who come through our doors will develop a heart passion after Jesus. Learning and yearning to deny ungodliness, they will effectively walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our hearts' desire centers around two things, salvation and spiritual growth. We believe that Acts 2:42 is our model for success in these areas. It says, "...they (the early Church) devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, to breaking bread, and to prayer." With these three main components in place, we feel that God can grow the teens of New Life into strong, productive contributors in the Body of Christ.

Catalyst has a class that we call the CORE for those in Senior High... every Sunday at 10:30 am. The goal of this class is to raise up God's future leaders.

Currently CYC has home group meetings every other month. These are called Catalyst Lifestyles Groups. They are led by our staff members. We meet at a designated home in the different areas of our community. These meetings are designed to get to know one another on a more personal level. We fellowship, play games and eat together.

As part of our activities at Catalyst, we hold an annual summer camp, fun activities such as paintball, girls’ meetings, guys’ meetings, one or two trips a year to special meetings such as Benny Hinn, and a youth revival.

We also plan outreaches... we recently went door to door in a local community inviting them to a Caytalyst outreach called "Who You Rollin' Wit", many young people gave their hearts to the Lord that day.

We have several areas of ministy that we encourage our teens to be involved in such as a dance team, a couple praise and worship team, greeters, ushers, etc.
